The Education Amendments continued to attempt to correct some of the nation's ills. Programs to eliminate sex discrimination and sex stereotyping were developed. A national vocational education data reporting and accounting system was developed and states were required to develop an evaluation system. The NOICC and SOICC Occupational Information Coordinating Committees were established.
